Owenego Summer Tennis

The Owenego Beach and Tennis Club has three red clay courts for member use. Play is first come
first serve but should be limited to 1 hour for singles and 1.5 hours for doubles if people are waiting.
The tennis courts are reserved at certain times during the week for tennis programs. These times will
be posted on the courts. Proper shoes and shirts should be worn while playing. There are tennis
racquets and balls available to borrow in the Owenego office. Please return all equipment, sweep and
line the courts after use. If you have any questions about the programs below, looking for someone to
play with or would like to sign up for a lesson program please contact.

Private Tennis Lessons
Private tennis lessons are available by appointment and are a great way to improve your game.
1 hour lesson $70 ½ hour $40.
Group lessons 1 hour (3-4 people)
Groups adults, families or children can be set up on a weekly basis at a convenient time. $25 per
person.
Adult Tennis CAPP point play
This is a game based cardio workout. Intermediate/Advanced players
who want a fun and challenging tennis workout. $22 per person

Beginner Lessons: Monday 8:00am to 9:00 am June 24 to August 12
Intermediate Lessons: Monday 9:00 am to 10:00 am
Junior Tennis Mini Camp
Participants will continue to improve on their forehand, backhand, serve and volley with drills, fun
games, and game situations. Scoring, strategy and match play for singles and doubles will be
incorporated. Monday thru Thursday 10 am to 12 noon. Open to all levels ages 8 to 14 years old.

​​​Tennis Racquet Restringing
It is recommended that racquets get restrung each season. Cost of stringing is $25 plus the cost of
string.
